Biography

PsychoSocial was formed in early 2017 by drummer Pim Trommelen and bassist Rick Kolen, who, after a six-month search, brought together a strong lineup. The initial group included Django van Loon and Cindy Kolen on percussion, Jonathan Ramackers on guitar, and Thom Peeters as the sampler. This lineup laid the foundation for the band’s early work.Soon after, vocalist Lennard Barendse and DJ Dennis van Opstal joined the band. After several changes in guitarists and the drummer, Mat van Baest and Bastiaan Koster were added to complete the lineup. In 2018 and 2019, PsychoSocial made a successful debut in the tribute scene and began building a reputation as a top-notch act.In 2021, the band underwent another lineup change, with Lennard Barendse being replaced by Jeremy Kock as the lead vocalist. Early in 2022, Mat van Baest was succeeded by René Verhoeven on guitar. Darrick joined the band in 2023 and remains an active member. In 2023, Martijn joined and contributed until 2024. The lineup was further strengthened in 2024 when Junior came on board, who is still with the band.

With this new lineup, PsychoSocial is once again complete and ready to make an impact.
